From a teacher's perspective, how does one know that a student has LEARNED something? What does that look like? Stevenson dives into what is going on in our brains during in the initial stage of making sense of something. What is something, you ask? Great question. Something is anything: knowledge or skills. How do we make sense of it? If we can make sense of the process of understanding, we can improve the process of understanding and therefore improve our effectiveness of living... woah.
